Master Plan

Ware's Master Plan

The Master Plan Steering Committee has been hard at work over the last few years, taking your thoughtful comments from the MindMixer site and considering them along with the data (presented in the Appendix document). Afer considering current issues and concerns facing our community, we developed a set of recommendations which, if implemented, can help the Town move toward its goals and aspirations (see Chapter 3 of the plan). This important planning document was accepted by the Planning Board at their public hearing on September 21, 2016.

On August 27, 2016, we put this important document out to you, the public, for your feedback. Many people took advantage of this prime opportunity to learn more about the plan and its recommendations. We also ran a series of programs on Ware Community Television from July to the end of September 2016.

Below, you will find links to the Master Plan, the Master Plan Appendix, and a set of educational posters about the master plan. You can also find copies at the Young Men’s Library Association, the Ware Senior Center, and at Town Hall. We hope you find the Master Plan to be informative and inspiring. With your help, we can all make Ware Somewhere Worth Being for generations to come.
