9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The Town of Ware Fire Department will be conducting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. in front of the memorial display at 200 West Street, Ware.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of this terrible attack we are also focusing on the importance of community health resources and have arranged for the Baystate Health Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Bus to be present at this special event.
The Baystate Health Mobile Vaccination team will be on site from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to offer Pfizer and J&J COVID vaccinations to community members age 12 and older wishing to be vaccinated, no appointment needed! Resources and educational materials will also be available.
Please join the Ware Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team, Baystate Health and our local and state dignitaries as we honor and remember the nearly 3,000 people that lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
