Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) has submitted an application proposing a Utility Scale Solar Facility east of Route 9/Belchertown Road and west of Fischerdick Road. The Project is proposed to consist of a utility-scale ground mounted solar facility over 16 parcels of land.

4. Updated Landowners/Lot List
5. Updated Easements Memoranda

The following was submitted in the initial application:
1. Summary of Design and Permitting memorandum
2. Application for Site Plan Review
3. Special Permit Application
4. Project Conceptual Design Drawings
5. Documentation of notification to ISO-New EnglandInterconnection Request
6. Associated Documentation

This public hearing has not yet been scheduled.
The earliest it will be held will be in September, 2021. When the public hearing is scheduled, this will included notification of abutters and publication of the legal notice in the Ware River News. When scheduled, the public hearing is anticipated to be held in the Great Hall in the Town Hall, with call-in participation available using Zoom Meetings. 

Any questions regarding the project or future public hearing can be directed to the Planning & Community Development Department. The Planning Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 7pm at Town Hall.
