CONCERNS WITH STORMWATER RUN-OFF FROM ABUTTERS
Bruce Burns present - submitted property line plans with regard to Reed property.
Bruce and Gibby checked the drains and they have been cleaned
Environmental Engineer, Chuck Dauchy, check the system and states it works
Burns is willing to put on a finish coat of asphalt to correct problems
David Kopacz from Conservation believes the finish coat will help
Board: This does not mean Town accepts road, Somerset still responsible
MOTION TO ALLOW SOMERSET TO PUT FINISH COAT OF ASPHALT WITH PROPER CROWNING IN ATTEMPT TO ALLEVIATE WATER RUN-OFF TO GOULD ROAD AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES

RE: Town Planner Position
Steve is proposing a full-time position that works with CC and PB
With steady growth and possible Casino, the Master Plan for Town needs to be updated
Planner would work ¾ with PB and ¼ with CC
Possibly pay in range of $41,000 to $64,000
Most of the Board agrees, the Town needs a Planner
Some concerns over Planner making decisions for the Board
LEO CHENEVERT - INFORMATION
Leo owns two properties
Wants to add more land to his existing residence
Reviewed plan with Board and asked about set-backs
JACK ARTELE - RESIDENT OF WARE
Believes Ware would benefit from a Town Planner
Town needs to be assessed and we need an economic base
MARTHA KLASONOS - CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Change to Strawberry Fields Subdivision by CC is LESS IMPACT
CC did not mean to have Jerry start hearings over

Martha spoke with Bill Hayes and agrees less impact of water run-off
Starodoj pointed out that there is an existing Town pipe there already
Higney reviewed Subdivision By-Laws - PB can modify

The Guzik property, located next to the Roach Gravel has been sold.
Concerned that someone will be removing gravel
Appears as though there is some activity at the site
ZONE TWO AQUIVER IS THERE - WE NEED TO PROTECT DRINKING WATER
Another Gravel Pit will not benefit Community and General Public

Board reviewed plans and a denial form will be sent

Board had an inquiry - Can paintball go into old Quality Milk Building ?
Zone is RB1
Paintball is not specifically spelled out so therefore, not allowed
Is the same type of business as Roller Rink and Bowling Alley
Both Roller Rink and Bowling Alley NOT allowed in RB1
HOME TOWN SUPPLY BUSINESS ON WEST STREET
There are additional signs than are allowed on the building
A fence was required to be installed and lines drawn on paving
Send letter to Applicant - need to abide by conditions of SP
Need to abide by the sign by-law in Ware
CVS CONSTRUCTION ON WEST STREET
Concern with the amount of dust
Need to keep dust, dirt and debris to a minimum during construction
People living and walking and driving in area, do not need to be covered nor breath dust from construction site.
Concerned with cars being directed on personal property - risk to Town
