7:10 INFORMATION REGARDING HOWARD EDDY PROPERTY ON GREENWICH PLAINS ROAD
Mr. Florence present
Interested in buying property - question on frontage requirement.
Minutes of 2003 - PB voted that property was grandfathered with 20' frontage.
Presented ANR Plan from Hampshire Registry from 1980.
CD Generally, it requires 50 foot of frontage and 5,000 SF
The grandfather clause ran from 1976 to 1981.
Would like to see the letter from PB in 1989.
Decision will be based upon seeing the letter that PB wrote to Eddy.
We can check the minutes of 1989.
If the letter exists, we will uphold the letter that was written and honor their decision.
We need to substantiate the decision of the 1989 PB.

KSP ACTION SINCE LAST MTG ON 11-05-2008
Acquired Building Permit to install 8' Cedar Fence, 962'
Met with Associated Builders and determined a time line to repair infiltration system
Email from Peter Sawosik dated: 11-24-08
As requested at the Nov. 5th meeting regarding the remedy of the system the following has been accomplished:
1. The Meeting with Associated Builders was very productive and a the discussion involved
the establishment of a time frame for completion among other items.
2. I have attached a schedule (Gantt chart) which as of today is the plan.
3. This week preparations (Dig Safe, Silt fence installation, etc.) have been accomplished
As I stated to the Board I feel confident Kanzaki will institute the agreed upon resolution to the Storm Water Infiltration System prior to the Winter season.

7:20 pm Kanzaki feels that they will finish the repair on the infiltration system by 11/17/08. Fence parts have arrived and installation is ongoing.
KSP submitted update and responses to open items.
Artale Asked Abutters if they have noticed a difference in lighting.
Robinson Yes, some are shielded and some are shut off.
If they are going to be put on again, then need to be shielded.
KSP Those lights are OUT OF SERVICE.
RS #1 Truck Staging
You should be able to schedule the trucks for pick-up.
KSP Yellow area = trucks will not be parked there. NO PARKING AREA
Will have signs that state no parking allowed in yellow painted area.
Will have signs about idling law. (Massachusetts state law = 5 min.)
RS Have abutters noticed any difference ?
Bruso Three calls to Police Department in last two weeks regarding loud
Noise and vibration after midnight. Fork Lift noise.
KSP Regular size fork trucks with rubber tires on concrete.
CD Need to investigate this - can't imagine the fork lift can make this much noise and vibration.
Bruso Some type of filtration venting system ? Loud at night.
KSP Vaporizer (part of propane system)
We can probably put a sound deadener around it.
The installation of the fence will help this.
CD May be the same thing that the neighbors at MLH complained about.
CD Sounds like we are making progress.
KSP We turned down a lot of the interior PA system speakers and turned
the direction of some of the speakers that were facing Laurel Drive.
Artale How long do you feel vibrations ?
Bruso 1-2 minutes ~ sometimes 45 minutes.
Artale If minor, need to handle. If heavy, need to fix.
Big trucks and trains cause vibration.
Need to track the duration of the vibration.
Urban KSP has been trying to work with abutters.
I think they are doing a good job.
There is noise all over town.
CD I believe we are well on our way to a resolution.
Let's get the fence up and the sound deadener around vaporizer and
see how that works.
Bruso Other than the vaporizer noise and vibration in the night, I have noticed a big difference.
KSP We take all these issues very seriously and want to be a good neighbor.
Robinson After 7 pm - can you limit the kinds of stuff that gets thrown in dumpster at the end of the building… metal dumped by forklift.
It is very loud and echoes.
KSP It's a compacter that is enclosed outside but fed from the inside.
Certainly should not be any forklifts outside at night dumping stuff.
Bruso Gardner property - trees behind house ? fence in front on behind trees ? Can you put some low-lying ground cover… side bank.
KSP Behind trees. It will look better in the spring. We can seed it and put ground cover.
Urban How many employees on night shift ?
KSP Four foreman on shift. Any complaints will go to security and they will notify the Foreman about the situation.

What plans were filed for original building?
What plans were built?
What was reason for deviation?
KSP We spoke with Associated Builders. Submitted email from Kim Masiuk of Associated.
Is contamination on sight ?
KSP NO
Urban List of all chemicals used on site ? posted ?
KSP Yes we have the sheets that employees can have access to.
MSDS sheet in booklets for review.
Robinson At BOS mtg, they stated we would be provided with list of all flammable chemicals on site ? what is status on that ?
KSP We are putting that together. OSHA regs. Gary Hoskins is contact.
We need to follow protocol.. we have some trade secrets.
CD We can end this here tonight with the understanding that we are moving forward and there will be a site visit by the PB in early 2009.
